We know it’s important to plant native or adapted plants for three big reasons: they need less water, they require less chemical assistance (fertilizers and pesticides) & they save you money and time. Because native plants grow here naturally, they need much less water (once established, some can survive on our average rainfall) and are very hardy. Since you save so much water and you don’t need to buy chemicals to keep them healthy, growing these plants will save you money. And not having to pamper these tough, natural beauties also saves you a lot of time.
