About us: TeamH2OWorks creates hands-on service learning for high school students at community gardens. Powered by the Dallas Water Utilities Water Conservation Youth Corps.

Description: TeamH2OWorks seeks to teach youth about the importance of water conservation and community by partnering with local community gardeners to restore and to plant native plants and trees.

Each week from June 13 – July 31, a group of high school students will works at the following community gardening locations: Live Oak Community Garden, East Dallas Community, Peace Community Garden

Mission: Our mission is to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of our environment by engaging young people in hands-on service.

The Water Conservation Youth Corps will make a positive impact on Dallas area youth by utilizing water conservation projects as a vehicle for learning.

A Youth Corps program is a proven strategy for engaging young people in service to their communities while cultivating valuable skills to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
